Nous avons passé quelques jours très agréables chez Yajaira. La maison est merveilleusement bien située sur un versant qui descend à la mer au milieu des jardins . Décoration simple mais il y a un poêle à bois pour réchauffer lés soirées fraîches. Un plus certain. Nous vous recommandons si vous aimez le grand calme et l’isolement. Il est vrai que la maison mitoyenne n’était pas occupée pendant notre séjour.

we stayed 5 nights in Las Tricias and liked it very much. the inside of the house is comfortable and the outside just stunning. we had our breakfast outside each day enjoying the spectacular view (due to mixed weather we had an amazing rainbow over the sea on several days), and at night we went out to watch the stars, a perfect view of the Milky Way. inside you have a large table in the kitchen corner and two comfortable armchairs near the fireplace. the kitchen had all we needed and the shower worked perfectly. the bed is fine, but in the sleeping room you can hear people from the neighbouring apartment talking. we really loved the location which was easy to find with Yajaira's description. no problem to get in, even though Yajaira was not there. we did not meet her, but she always reacted quickly by mail. there is parking by the house but the last 200 m are a bit steep and narrow, so we avoided arriving in the dark. the walk to the shop and the (excellent) restaurant takes 25 mins.

Yajaira's place is a dream. The view is incredible and it feels like being on the edge of the world. Lots of birds, view of the ocean and canyon below. The hiking nearby is beautiful. There's a nice resaurant (CamuCamu) in town and it's definitely worth to check out the Mercadillo (Farmer's Market) across the canyon in Puntagorda, which happens Sat. afternoons and Sundays. The house was comfortable and nice to hang out and relax in, especially the patio outside. The location was a perfect balance between access to the beauty/ruggedness of the north and the amenities along the west coast. Warm and dry in February. Yajaira was always quick to answer any questions and was a wonderful host! Highly recommended!!

Ich war nun zum zweiten Mal zu Gast in Las Tricias und war ebenso begeistert, wie bereits beim ersten Mal. Wunderschöner Platz, sehr ruhig und abseits. Yajaira ist eine äußerst aufmerksame und angenehme Gastgeberin. Ich fühle mich hier fast wie zu Hause. Nur besser :-)

Yajaira’s place is truly one of the best places we’ve been to on holidays. The views are spectacular, with stunning sunsets and stars at night. It is peaceful but also close to the farmer’s market in Puntagorda and perfect to explore the wilder and calmer north of the island. The house itself has everything you might need, a very well equipped kitchen and a great space outside to enjoy the beauty of the nature around it. It was also spotlessly clean when we checked in. Yajaira was super helpful, providing directions, tips and information ahead of time and absolutely lovely to talk to when we met in person. Her attentiveness and care for her guests easily shines through. This place is definitely the best value for money place you can find on the island. We will most definitely be back to La Palma and certainly stay here when we do. Without hesitation a 10/10 stay!!
