Phillipa was nice however a few things should improve. The twin bed only had one duvet, extra would be good as I shared with a friend. The room has a basic latch with a padlock that won't really stop anyone coming in when left unattended. The room cannot be locked from inside. During my visit, the front door key could not be accessed (Outside key safe was broken) and a guest had to open it for me, albeit I was late to check in (Around 9-10 pm). The light bulb had stopped working in the toilet as well. But for the price we paid, it was as expected. Good thing was a dedicated car park space in front.

No locks on bedroom doors. Unresponsive host. Other guests at the property. Would be nice if you host had informed to say when other guests would be arriving etc. especially when there aren’t any bedroom locks anyway. It didn’t feel particularly safe. Bed was comfortable but had a restless few nights as I couldn’t settle knowing anyone could walk in…. Which they did on my last night. Man came into my room at 10:45pm and turned the light on they claimed he didn’t know anyone was in there. Then a woman knocked on my door, this was the host. She said I should have already left as my check out date was 2nd march (current date was 1st march) she argued with me about this then once she realised she’d got the dates mixed up she said ‘oh ok’ then left the house. Host messaged me the next day to apologise for her confusion. Bedroom locks and messaging through the air BnB app would prevent this. Had to post my key through letter box as key box was broken which I also informed host of.
