nous avons adoré notre séjour chez Gael. elle s'est montrée super arrangeante et flexible. la maison est juste incroyable. Les grands volumes ouvertes permettent une excellente circulation de l'air. la terrasse, très bien couverte, est une pièce à vivre supplémentaire. la piscine est très agréable et appréciable la réalité est bien au dessus des photos . c'est un vrai havre de paix

Gail’s place is really special - we had a wonderful few days here with our kids. It’s very secluded and the deck side of the house is very private. You look out across greenery to the ocean and wake up to the sound of the waves. Our small kids loved playing in the pool and spotting all the wildlife - bats, lizards and birds. Make sure you read the description thoroughly before booking as it is rustic and the open concept (no doors) may not be to everyone’s taste but it was fine for our family. We hired a car from Gail (essential as it’s quite far from the main road) and loved the local La Sagesse beach and exploring the north of the island. Gail also arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport initially which was great as we may have found it hard to find ourselves!

We spent a fantastic week at Gail's cottage in Grenada! It is in a spectacular location! The walk-out deck on the front of the cottage is completely private, and it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet, with a constant cooling breeze and the calming sound of ocean waves. We felt right at home with the rustic charm of the place! A well appointed kitchen allowed us to cook most of our meals here, our bed was extremely comfortable, and our 3 children spent hours enjoying the pool. Gail and her husband Don were very attentive hosts, and quickly helped us with any questions/issues that came up. Gail's cottage provides privacy, stunning views and a thoroughly comfortable base to explore Grenada from - we highly recommend staying here!!!

Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations in ways. Firstly, we proactively communicated our concerns regarding various issues (property access instructions & pool cleaning, etc.). Unfortunately, that was met with lack of/delayed response or excuses given regarding said issues. Secondly, while the listing described the property as an "open concept house," we were surprised to find that this meant no doors to any of the rooms, leading to no privacy throughout. Furthermore, the overall maintenance of the property was poor, with very dirty dishware that we did not feel comfortable using for sanitary reasons. The bath towels were also quite old and worn. Be informed that the pool is open to the wilderness so it was understandably dirty. Sadly, it was not ultimately cleaned when we requested cleaning. Best solution would be for the host to cover. Overall, the house has much potential, serene and huge with amazing views, however, we were disappointed with our experience.

Off the beaten trail, but worth the drive for the peace and quiet. You can hear the waves crash on the rocks just down the road. The house is on the rustic side, and does need a little TLC but I wouldn’t let that stop you from booking this little gem, definitely worth the stay!
