Greer is a magical place. We have stayed in over 10 different airbnb’s in Greer and are very familiar with the town. The two stays where we’ve had issues were both managed by The Lost Resort. Basic attention to details and problems with stated amenities seems to be a challenge. Our place this stay had not been viewed by their cleaning crew for a week, so there were dead flies everywhere and evidence of mice in the bathroom and kitchen. The housekeeping staff who came were not at fault. The listing does not disclose that there is a second apartment on the first floor- not an issue but should be disclosed in the listing On our last morning we woke at 7am to no water- we left at 9 as we had an appt to keep and it had not been resolved. No one even attempted to call us and would only communicate thru the airbnb app with an hour as an acceptable time frame for response. All other rentals in Greer pay attention to details. We will not stay in any rental that is managed by Lost resort again.
