诺福克(Norfolk) · 整套民居 · 3室3床3.5卫 · 可住6人 · Detached 3-bed/3-bath home in the Golden Triangle
Perfectly positioned on the corner of a quiet street of traditional Victorian terraced houses the detached home at 115 Onley Street is a unique place to stay. Built to sympathetically echo the design and style of the Victorian ‘street scene’ the house has all the conveniences that you can expect from a modern home. The area is popular with families, first-time home-owners and students alike and there’s a really friendly local community. In the heart of Norwich's popular 'Golden Triangle'. A spacious, detached house with three en-suite bedrooms (plus a loo downstairs), 115 Onley Street is the perfect place for families, groups of friends of colleagues to share while each having privacy. Leading off the large entry hall you’ll find a light, bright sitting room with French doors opening on to a sheltered courtyard garden with festoon lighting for the evenings and a wild flower border. There's a comfy sofa, armchair with a footstool and a 42” TV so you can relax inside. There’s even a much-loved piano should the fancy take you! The kitchen is equipped with a large American-style fridge-freezer, built-in oven, hob, extractor fan, dishwasher and washing machine plus a microwave and Nespresso coffee machine with a few pods to help you wake up ready to explore the city! The retro dining table seats six or you might choose to perch at the breakfast bar for your morning brew. Downstairs has underfloor heating throughout which can be controlled on site. All three bedrooms upstairs are set with superking size beds (these can all be configured in advance and only when requested to full size single twin beds). Each bedroom has its own shower room with loo, sink, heated towel rail and illuminated demister mirror and each bedroom also has a wall-mounted TV. We provide hairdryers and fans. Bedroom One has a neutral colour scheme with a full size wardrobe with drawer, dressing table and bedside tables and the large bathroom has daylight from the Velux window. Bedroom Two has original artworks, cosy colours, a full size wardrobe with drawer and bedside tables as well as the en-suite shower room with Velux window. Bedroom Three has a large window onto the street scene, a compact (half-length) wardrobe and bedside tables. The en-suite shower room has an opaque window giving lots of natural daylight but also privacy! Upstairs is centrally heated and each radiator can be controlled separately for your comfort and the modern sash windows can be locked in an open position for ventilation with security. Heating and plentiful hot-water are provided by our eco-efficient air-source heating system. We also do our bit for the environment with bins for general waste, recycling and also food-waste just outside and we’ll give you full instructions for this when you arrive. Norwich City Council takes the green agenda very seriously and new properties are not allocated any parking spaces – we have parking for up to three cars in the carpark of the pub (which we own!) just behind the house (a maximum of a two minute walk) and you can also pull up outside to drop off and collect your bags. You can also often find a spot outside once the restrictions end at 6.30pm.
Briony’s house is 5 star! Pristinely clean, well-equipped, spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything is to such a high standard. Thanks to Briony for all her help, such a lovely host, would highly recommend! We’ll be back (if you will have us! ☺️)
Briony set the bar on not only accommodations but hospitality. Her response time was exceptional and the accommodation is exactly what the pictures reflect if not larger than we expected. Highly recommend!
Briony was a fabulous host. She answered queries swiftly and made some fabulous suggestions about where to visit on our stay. We were able to check in early and make even better time of our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to park a short distance away in The Unthank Arms car park (highly recommend the food here). The house was perfect! Beautifully furnished and decorated, warm and extremely welcoming. We had a fabulous stay and didn’t want to leave. We would love to come back one day xx
Norwich’s ‘Golden Triangle’ is the place to stay if you want to combine close access to the city centre with its shops, restaurants, theatres, cinema and history with a vibrant neighbourhood full of its own fantastic pubs, coffee shops and local independent businesses. 115 Onley Street will make your perfect pied a terre.
The owners have two pubs within a few minutes’ walk but they’re keen for guests at 115 to enjoy everything that the area and their home city has to offer.
