Simple but well equipped cottage for 2 in a peaceful, rural location, just a short drive from the Daylesford/ Hepburn area… Perfect for those looking to enjoy all the area has to offer, whilst staying away from the busier townships. Red & Patrick made everything incredibly easy, and we appreciated their warm welcome with a bottle of wine, plus a stocked kitchen of teas, coffee and milk, plus treats for our dog! Will definitely be back when we next visit the region.
Red and Patrick are the best hosts we’ve experienced through AirBnB! They provided everything from milk, wine and doggy treats, to giving great local recommendations. They communicated kindly, and also support lots of local great causes through the business. The unit itself is a great size, even with our giant dog, and has great heating, peaceful surrounds and fencing. It’s only 25 mins to Daylesford, and even less to Castlemaine. Would absolutely stay again!
Red's cottage was very cosy and livable and situated in a beautiful bush setting. Both our hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to our questions. We both felt very comfortable during our stay. I highly recommend Red's place to anyone travelling to the Daylesford area.
We loved our stay here! It's a beautiful spot. The cabin is very cute and cosy. You can tell Red and Patrick put a lot of effort into decorating and making it a comfortable environment. I love that they support local businesses and artists. The cabin has good heating options and we were happy to cook our dinners on the BBQ. Dutjiya Mang was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway!
