We were traveling for a friends wedding and this location was perfect. The place was very clean and we felt right at home. The best part was walking distance to Sikes and Kohns! If you’re visiting check out Sweet Creek Farmers Market the atmosphere and food was wonderful! Would definitely book again!

Host Elaine was wonderful. Checked in with us to make sure things were going well. We stayed here for 3 weeks before moving to our next Airbnb as we were waiting to close on our house. The home is an older double wide, but it was clean and the front porch was great for relaxing. The area is rural, but so very quiet! The people we did encounter were friendly and we walked our little dogs on the road which was not busy. The Internet was awesome, I work remote and it was fast! There is a General Dollar store very close, and a few restaurants, which were all very good. Great homemade burgers next to the outlet(Hamburger King), Red’s Little Schoolhouse(buffet and homemade food), and the BBQ House. Good little place if you need some quiet and privacy.

Excellent place to stay the night while we were traveling through to Florida and then back home. We were able to get a restful nights sleep both nights.

The pictures are a great representation of the Airbnb. The house is located in a nice, quiet area of the town. Elaine was very responsive and helpful.

After one night in a broken down camper with no heat or water, we searched for last minute lodging for 3 adults. Skeptical of finding anything nearby we were pleasantly surprised to find this cottage. Elaine was a great very responsive host and after one day we asked to extend the rental rather than try to go back and work on the broken camper. Three comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and well-appointed kitchen helped to change a potentially disastrous week into a great week. Highly recommend Elaine and her cottage. If you need additional space there is another great 2 bedroom cottage right next door. There is a large convenience store/gas station and Dollar General very very close by and Montgomery was an easy drive up the highway. Definitely will rent this place again. Thank you Elaine!
