The view was incredible and ski in ski out was perfect. However….upon arrival we saw a rat run across the master bedroom. The house is MUCH smaller than expected from photos. The loft is above the kitchen/living room with no privacy. The master bath tub was rigged with a crescent wrench to turn it on and master shower was missing the handle completely. One morning we woke up and there was an alarm going off for an hour until someone came to turn it off. Check in was easy, but there were multiple phone numbers and confusion about who handles the property. When we were checking out, we discovered that someone in our group had accidentally taken our rental car key with them and they had already gotten on a flight. The rental company said they would come first thing in the morning to pick it up. We called the property manager to confirm that would be okay and they said it would be totally fine. Hours later they called back and said they decided to tow the car and we were charged $200.

Great ski and ski out. Absolutely stunning views. Tv was confusing but who doesn’t walk into a place and not know how to use the remote

We had a peaceful stay up at Red Awning up in “Cowboy Heaven.” Big Sky resort was just a short drive away for all of our ski and snowboarders, which was very convenient. The space was clean and well stocked and had pretty much everything we needed. We enjoyed having our own little corner of the sky.

We had a fantastic stay at Moonlight Basin. The property was exactly as described and had everything you need for a great vacation. The team was friendly, responsive, and provided great communication. We look forward to coming back again soon.

Beautiful place with an incredible view of the mountains. Clean, wonderful amenities, and perfectly situated with direct ski in/out access to Iron Horse lift. The host was also extremely responsive and helpful, with check-in/out, recommendations, and any questions we had while there. We had an issue with the hot tub during part of our stay, but they went above and beyond in getting it fixed as quickly as possible and made up for part of our stay where it was unavailable. Would happily return next time we are in Big Sky!
