My parents who are in their mid 80s stayed at Manos' place and they absolutely loved everything about the apartment. Manos looked after them really well which was very reassuring for me and they were really pleased with him too. He even offered to give them lifts to Heraklion and other places! They also loved the figs that he left for them :-) The neighbourhood was a little remote for my parents without a car, particularly for my mother who can't easily walk very far. They found it easy to get a bus to Heraklion though, although it is quite a hilly town with a lot of steps so that was a bit difficult.
Super Unterkunft wenn man einen Leihwagen hat. Nebean liegt direkt der Strand und man komm mit dem Auto überall und schnell hin. Die Unterkunft selber war sauber und sehr schön. Dar Gastgeber war auch sehr Freundlich, immer hilfsbereit und hat uns soger kleine Aufmerksamkeiten dagelassen! :) In allem 5* und würde jedem diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.
Manos es un ansfitrión excepcional. Siempre atento y dispuesto a hacer que la estancia en su alojamiento sea cómoda y agradable. El alojamiento es ideal para dos o tres personas. Está muy limpio, bien decorado y con buenas terminaciones (las ventanas y puertas son de buena calidad y está bien insonorizado, por lo que, aún habiendo otros huéspedes en otras unidades, hay privacidad para estar a gusto). La zona -Kato Gouves- es ideal para quienes quieren descansar en sus vacaciones. Sus playas son muy buenas -aunque hay pocos servicios tales como alquiler de sombrillas- y su ubicación hace que los atardeceres sean maravillosos. Es recomendable rentar un coche para poder moverse y visitar esta fantástica isla. En resumen, hemos pasado dos semanas realmente estupendas. Lugar altamente recomendable.
The apartment is very nice, new and well furnished. The garden is very nice, private and perfect to have breakfast and dinner. It’s located in a peaceful area, but there isn’t much within walking distance, so a car is needed. Private parking is available. Manos was super helpful welcoming and happy to help us.
