Abbey and Nick's cottage was the perfect place for my family's vacation! The cottage was spotless when we arrived and it was super easy to get into. It is in a remote area, so even though it was a little far away from many restaurants/attractions, it was so peaceful that it was definitely worth it(It was pretty close to Kitch-iti-kipi though, which I highly recommend visiting!) The lake was gorgeous and there was so much to do such as kayaking, fishing, paddle-boarding, canoeing, and hiking. My family especially enjoyed sitting out by the campfire or on the decks to play cards/board games! We had so much fun here, and it gave us all the relaxing vacation we were hoping for! 10/10 rating from the Fein's :)

If you are looking for a relaxing home with a lake view, this is the spot! Our hosts made us feel welcome from beginning to end. The little touches for a warm welcome were greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the lake access and use of kayaks for some fun in our down time. The outside was well maintained and the inside was nice and cozy. We enjoyed all the area had to offer, including the scenic views on our trips to the trails we wanted to ride our bikes on. This was our first trip to the UP and we are ready to go back. We would definitely stay here again!

Abbey and Nick have done a beautiful job with their place! The lake is peaceful and the water is clean. The water level in front of their cottage was perfect for my three boys, ages 3, 7 and 8. They had a blast on their swim pad and jumping off the dock. My husband and older boys caught quite a few fish from the shore and even more in the kayaks. I truly appreciated how clean everything was when we arrived and they provided everything to keep it that way. Traveling is always easier when you have a clean space to come back to. The location was perfect for taking day trips and close to Kitch-iti-kipi which my boys found fascinating. There’s so much fun to be had in the UP and Abbey and Nick’s cottage is the best place to do it.

Great place for our family of five. We appreciate how new and clean everything in the home was. Great views and access to the lake. Loved having the kayaks for additional outdoor activity. Large outdoor flower pots in the front and back were absolutely beautiful and an especially nice touch for a vacation rental!

Abbey and Nick’s lake house was one of the best we’ve stayed at in the UP. We would come back next year for sure! Close to a lot of the beautiful sights up north and also a lot to do at the house to keep our young kids busy. The trails and forest roads were awesome for riding our Jeep and would be great for an ORV or ATV. 10/10 Recommend.
