The house is on a long wedge of land in a fold of a steep hillside, surrounded on all sides by similar houses. There is a strip of land alongside the driveway going down to the house which is currently overgrown with weeds and has dug out areas (originally lawn in the photos). This currently prevents delivery of gas bottles for hot water heating, and so portable camping sized bottles were provided instead. The narrow strip of land at the back of the house is mostly bare clay with fruit trees. Photos often include neighbours lawn. This is normally an owner occupied house and the owner was still in the process of departing when I arrived for the 4pm checkin. Cleaning was unfinished. Gas supply, unsorted. Carpets smelling strongly of the owners wee dog. I was given two camping gas cylinders for hot water and instructions for how to swap them over but was permanently anxious about every shower running cold. Wow! What an incredible place! The views are outstanding and the layout and facilities are wonderful. An incredibly easy place to stay and Lynette was great to deal with. We loved our time at Lynette’s. We will definitely be back.

Lynett's place is a quiet, neat place with absolutely beautiful seascape and landscape views. You get these utmost serene, peaceful feelings when you sit on the outdoor chair with a glass of wine, watching evening sunset slowly receding over the beautiful Plimerton's Karehana bay. It is amazing!! Lynette keeps the place very neat and clean, with everything you need for a 'holiday stay'. The house has 2 cozy bedrooms, an almost brand new bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen. My only complaint is about the access to the place. It may not be daunting task on a sunny day before 6pm, but we happened to reach the place in a dark, rainy near mid night and finding the place through a narrow driveway (which G....e maps forgot about) was not the best we wished for. If #47 clearly displayed at the beginning of the driveway, rather than on the wall of the house, it would have made a huge difference. All in all, we had a good time here, enjoyed beautiful summer days mostly.
