The Huff Creek Hideaway was such a treat! The cabin in the woods with the wood stove was so quiet and peaceful. The house and grounds are beautifully designed. Lindsey was really great to work with and very responsive. My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay and unwind!
It was the best get away for me and my fiancée. Had everything we needed. Lindsey was great with communication. Very neat and clean. Great choice of movies in the DVD selection. Bed was cozy. Instructions for wood stove were simple and to the point. We felt so at home. We highly recommend the cabin to anyone looking to get away for the weekend. We can not wait to come back.
Lindsey’s place surpassed my expectations. The cabin was even more beautiful than the photos and everything felt so clean. This is by far the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The cabin was very unique and adorable, and had a very relaxed aesthetic. Everything was extremely comfortable, I can’t believe how comfortable the bed was! The property was beautiful and I enjoyed the outside space. It was clear there was a lot of thought put into every single corner of this cabin. The cabin is off a road, but it still felt secluded and you didn’t have vision of any neighbors from the cabin. Great places nearby to go hiking. P.S: I was surprised that my Verizon cellphone did get some service, but was prepared to have none
Huff Creek Hideaway is tucked away in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in between Lynchburg and Charlottesville, VA. It's the perfect remote, but not too remote, setting. The cabin is situated on 10 acres among hundreds of acres of forest. You won't be able to see or hear any neighbors.
The town of Amherst (9 mins away) has coffee shops, a grocery store, drug store, restaurants, and antique shops. Lynchburg is an easy 20/25 minute drive, as is wonderful hiking and breweries/cideries in Nelson County.
Expect to see wildlife (deer, foxes, butterflies, turtles, etc.) and don't be surprised if a bug or two gets in the cabin.
You'll need your own transportation to the cabin.
