Had an amazing time in the windmill over the weekend. The place is clean and well laid out with lots of storage. Be prepared for a workout if you’re on the top floor!

The Windmill was an incredible place to stay & I would definitely stay again. The place was large, spacious & felt like home as soon as we stepped into the building! The fireplace was amazing & the hot tub was lovely to use. The addition of a games room & the pool table, as well as the board games were used frequently during our stay & contributed to the relaxing, fun getaway we were aiming for. However, there are a couple minor improvements that I believe could be made. The hot tub hadn’t been appropriately cleaned prior to our arrival & had bits of leaves & a couple dead bugs which we had tried to remove before using & was visibly old. The lawn was overgrown & could have used a trim. Half of the cutlery & plates were also not appropriately cleaned as they had bits of food crusted on them still. The placed could’ve definitely used a good dusting too as there were multiple cobwebs & dead spiders around. None of this took away from the over experience & we would still book again.

Nice weekend away with my friends. We did have some problems with the hot tub but Julia was quick to respond. Loved the big fire place. Looking forward to coming back and trying out the new hot tub next year.

We loved our stay at the windmill. Beautiful, quirky house with gorgeous decor. Downstairs was so much larger than we imagined and the garden was huge too! The hot tub was a real treat & a lovely way to relax. We would 100% stay again. Thank you!
