We loved the common areas, especially the pools and grilling areas. The unit fit our family of five. The cleaners’ equipment was still inside the door when we checked in and we had to step around it. The apartment was not very clean (dusty, walls/floors stained, food crumbs in drawers, mold in coffee maker, etc). While Cozysuites was quick to respond to questions and concerns, it would be nice if they took steps to make sure everything is clean and re-stocked between guests. We made the reservation for 5 guests, and there were 3 towels, 1 drinking glass, a few spoons, and not enough blankets for all the beds. We’d recommend bringing your own cooking tools if you want to cook. I should also note there were no pool towels or grilling tools provided. The Lazo building maintenance was incompetent. The ceiling leaked while we were there…twice! We found out it had happened a week prior as well. It was “fixed” between the two leaks. Cozysuites gave us a discount and moved us to another unit.

We unfortunately had a terrible experience at Cozy suites located in AZ at The Lazo apartments. When we arrived it had a strong urine smell, we had to open the windows to get some fresh air in there. The place was extremely dusty like thick dust hanging from the ceiling fans and vents clogged by a bunch of dust. We later that night wanted to enjoy some fresh air on the patio and was met with dog poo on the patio!!! That’s when we figured the strong urine smell had to be from an animal. If we had the funds to spare we would’ve definitely checked out and went to a hotel or something but this by far was my first bad experience with air bnb. The dustiness of the place has gotten me and my family sick and couldn’t really enjoy our vacation. Overall the place has potential to be nice IF the upkeep was up to par. Highly disappointed! I definitely took pics of what we had to experience because that is not fair seeing a $150 cleaning fee is added to this property and it wasn’t properly cleaned!
