It is definitely worth it to stay in the center of town! We were in walking distance to fabulous restaurants, excursions, shopping! Did not use our car while we were there! Uber’s to one place we wanted to check out! Wine reception from 5-6p where we met nice people and coffee in am. We were there for 2 nights and highly recommend! Other reviews stated that area was loud at night…we did not experience that at all!!!

The location was great- nestled between two excellent restaurants and plenty to see by foot. They also had bicycles that we took advantage of. They were not in great shape (rusty chain), but they still worked fine. I did encounter some grumpiness with the the morning guy, which led me to believe that if we had any major issues, it might be difficult to address them with him. Everyone else was great and the place was perfect for our first time in the city. The wine and cheese each night was really lovely and allowed us to meet other guests.

Elliott House Inn was a charming little respite in the middle of all the activity. We enjoyed that it was in walking distance of all the shops on King St and all the restaurants in the Market. Great location! My husband came just for the weekend and we had a ground floor room. The king bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the bathroom was sufficient. The courtyard attached to our room added to the Charleston vibes. Staff was friendly and helpful.
