We stayed in Kalamaki for 4 nights and had a really good time. We didn't spend much time at the airbnb as we were at the beach most of the day! It is a 10 minute walk from the beach. There are lots of good restaurants, places to book tours, car hire places and souvenir shops on the walk to the beach. I highly recommend essence restaurant for dinner - the food was amazing. Kalamaki is very different from Laganas - it is not a party town. The island is big and you will need to rent a car or join a tour to see the other parts. Our airport taxi was expensive (15 euros for a 5 minute drive) so we didn't really look into taking taxis (I think you need to call them as there weren't many driving around to flag down). The room itself is basic but served its purpose well - it sleeps 3 (one double bed and one single bed). There isn't much storage or a sitting area inside but there is a balcony with tables and chairs. The room and toilet are cleaned every day like at a hotel. In conclusion, this is great budget accommodation in Kalamaki.

Nous venons de passer une semaine très agréable à Kalamaki. L'appartement est à environ 15min de la plage, et 10min des commerces, dans un quartier calme. Les excursions touristiques incluent les allers/retours en bus, nous avons donc pu visiter Zakynthos, Laganas, les "blue caves" et la plage de Navagio sans avoir à louer de voiture/quad. Le ménage est fait tous les jours et notre hôte Dimitrios est très disponible, merci encore !

When we arrived, we got a bottle of whine and some local cookies, which were great! We were also quite surprised that the room was cleaned everyday. Kalamaki is close by, but for Laganas you will really need a car or taxi. Same is the beach; walkable, but taking a car is way better. The kitchen is really basic and personally I don't like to hold the showerhead while I am taking a shower, but we had a great time! The only thing that should be mentioned is that the third bed is really hard. You will need an iron body to sleep comfortably on it. Luckily the big bed is nice to sleep on.

stanza nuova e pulitissima ,posizione perfetta per chi preferisce evitare la confusione ma allo stesso tempo comoda per raggiungere tutte le spiagge e le attrazioni dell isola...dimitrios molto gentile e disponibile
