Our family moved from Seattle in the fall of 2013 to live in Mexico full-time. We had a desire to explore the culture, learn Spanish, and to create a unique and interesting lifestyle. In the 12 years prior to our move we explored countless places in the Maya Riviera and the Caribbean seeking the perfect place to start our adventure. Isla Mujeres captured our hearts immediately with it’s beauty, charm and the laid-back safe environment if offers our family. With a background in real estate, design, and development, and an inherent draw towards beautiful places, architecture, and exquisite spaces, we set out to create Villas and a boutique hotel embodying our vision. Villa Encantada is unmatched in style and elegance among the island’s vacation rentals, and incorporates luxury amenities while using green and sustainable building practices in an effort to preserve and embrace the Island and region’s resources. The spaces are designed with handsome handmade finishes, combining the old world colonial heritage of Mexico with European and Middle Eastern flavors Our family is passionate about travel, art, and we especially enjoy celebrating life with family and friends. We are active in our daughter’s alternative education and have explored the magical culture, history and natural beauty of the Island and region.
