Our property is located in a quiet and peaceful area just a short walk from a Bistro. With easy access to public transportation you can explore all that Rossendale has to offer, from scenic hiking trails to historic landmarks. Built in 1694, this charming and cosy cottage has quirky features, spacious rooms and a huge garden to relax in. The cottage offers a cosy and comfortable stay with stunning views of the surrounding hills, valleys, and forests. You can explore the picturesque countryside, go hiking, mountain biking, or simply relax in the peaceful and serene surroundings. Rossendale is the perfect getaway destination to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

We had a lovely stay with friends for New Year, good size rooms and all amenities provided. Harvey was very communicative and helpful. Would recommend the Water Trough cafe just round the corner for breakfast/lunch.
It’s a charming place, and a real home from home. We stayed as a family & there’s loads of room to eat, chill & chat. The kitchen is really well stocked (we cooked a meal to take to our extended family of 15). Super responsive hosts when we had questions. We loved to yummies that we arrived to & hope it’s available next time we want to visit our extended family! Huge thanks 😁

Water village is quite remote, so the best option for public travel is by Bus.
The closest bus stop is about 60 second walk from the house right next to the Water Trough Bistro and there are regular busses to Burnley town centre, where there are shops, restaurants etc and where you can catch busses to other towns and cities.
The closest train station is at Burnley Manchester Road and is a short drive or bus ride away (approx 10 minutes).
