Nestled in the Peria Hills at the end of a no-exit road up a private driveway is Shargmor Lodge. The Stables apartment is built in the stable block with private outdoor space including the Citrus orchard. Centrally situated in the Waikato, 15 minutes from Hobbiton, 12 minutes from Matamata 1 Hr to Hamilton, Rotorua Tauranga, 2 Hrs to Auckland Taupo Whakatane. Hot pools within 30 minutes, bush walks, kayaking, bike trails, and golf courses aplenty, or just come relax and unwind and enjoy. The property is 10 acres surrounded by working farms, including milking cows, sheep, deer, and beef stock, and a well-known horse stud. The stables are refurbished cozy, double-glazed, and filled with my collectibles for you to enjoy.

We had the most beautiful time at Sid's. The airbnb was amazing with everything you could want and more. We had a lovely evening up at the main house getting a tour and sharing stories. Will definitely be back again
Beautiful location amongst the thoroughbred horses, beef, cattle, dairy cattle, and sheep all in the valley. I got great astrophotography overlooking the valley.

Gorgeous house gorgeous room I wish we could have stayed longer. We felt right at home and had the extra bonus of being wheelchair accessible and dog friendly. Can’t get over the decor, Sydney has amazing taste.
Syd was an impeccable host, generous beyond all expectations with drink and his own-grown food. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and decorated in a quirky, eclectic style. The surroundings are gloriously peaceful. A perfect way to end a busy hobbity day.
