We adored our stay at Regula’s place! The room was beautiful and large. We could walk everywhere but it was in such a quiet and peaceful place. The breakfast was excellent and Regula was so kind making us feel right at home. If you are hesitating to book this place, don’t! It’s the perfect spot to stay in Basel!!

Regula and Dieter were amazing hosts - a true bed and breakfast experience with hospitable family and most delicious homemade breakfast (Regula’s quince preserves are to die for whereas Dieter’s soft boil egg made to order is really made to perfection)! Their house is exceptionally beautiful, spacious and very carefully furnished with taste and utility for everything you may need. We stayed in Chrysantheme room and it was so very pleasant we did not want to leave! Regula made sure we had a carafe of sparkling water, selection of fancy teas (and hot water kettle!), and few delicious chocolates in our room. Our en suite bathroom was squeaky clean, with extra plush towels and high end toiletries. Both of our hosts offered honest recommendations and advice, kind chitchat, and extra flexibility with both late check -in and -out. In passing, the two pugs were adorable - even though Leo likes to announce he’s the boss, his sister melts all hearts and loves the attention. We’ll be back!!!

Sehr schöne, stilvolle Unterkunft, nur ca 7 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof, zentral und doch sehr ruhig. Gleich neben Park und in der Nähe von vielen Restaurants und Attraktionen. Regula und ihr Mann sind ausgesprochen gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Wunderbares Frühstück.
