Overall a really nice home and great location

We stayed for my bachelorette party and it was the perfect size for our very large group! We had some trouble getting into the house as the door had swelled from the humidity. Heirloom was very responsive and had some come adjust the door quickly! The house is very spacious and has all the amenities as described. My only complaint is that I felt there were tons of scuff marks all over the walls, and trim, specifically in the double bed loft room, that made the space look a little dirty. Additionally, one of the posts that holds up a large marble slab to the island was loose, which could’ve been a huge hazard. The location is AMAZING. The neighborhood is picturesque and very quiet. With a large group, there is a going to be some noise so be aware that they have “noise sensors” in the house, and the neighbors will complain if you are outside (even before 10pm) talking loudly for a few minutes. This definitely threw me off… but overall I would stay again!

The home was not fully cleaned before our arrival. Offensive bridal shower decorations were left in rooms and other decorations on the walls from a party. Dirty dish towels in the kitchen. Stained dining table and on dining chairs. Hair in the bathroom sinks in a couple of the bathrooms. Blinds were broken, ping pong table was sticky. Couch and rugs are worn down and both appear dirty. I chose this home due to high ratings for cleanliness. So I was disappointed to find so many issues. Maybe the house is booked often but this should not stop Heirloom from ensuring that it is properly prepared for the next guests. They offered to come and clean but we were in the midst of our stay and felt that it would be more of an interference. We were doing our best to make the best of an icky situation.We paid well over $2000 for this home. We were visiting for a long awaited family trip. We do not believe we got the home we expected and paid for.

This was a great place to stay! Lots of beautiful rooms and a great outdoor space. It also was a great location between downtown and the beach, which we were able to easily visit both as long as you called an uber about 15 minutes before your necessary departure time. The only issue we had was getting a ton… I mean a ton… of bug bites when we ate dinner outside. My group was from the Midwest and weren’t aware of “No See Um” bugs that we later read are mostly active around dawn/dusk. Obviously this isn’t an issue with the house itself, which was fantastic, but something to be aware of!

This home was beautiful. Perfect for our reunion of college friends. It is close to downtown Savannah and close to the beach. Heirloom was excellent about communicating with us and answering all of our questions in a timely manner.
