Not as modern as I expected from the photos but lovely and clean. Some electric switches a bit unreliable. Fairly well situated for bus and shops, train station about 20 minute walk. Could do with front shrubs pruning and back grass cutting but overall a decent stay.

Disappointing appearance, not as photographed on booking site. Very basic kitchen amenities. Generally the house required maintenance and care. Outside was very unwelcoming in appearance. We stayed in 4 other places of accommodation during our holidays and this house was the only one booked through Airbnb, and the most inaccurately described accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay. The place is by no means perfect - we had issues with ants and clogged sink - and underneath the surface the house is not well maintained / clean (e.g., overgrown lawn, dusty ceilings, feathers coming out of blankets). But overall I would rate the experience, considering the good communication with the host, value for money and convenient location, as being positive.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Young’s. Young is a great host and communicated very well and was most helpful with all our queries. Place was a gem. A genuine home away from home and in a pleasant and convenient for our purposes. Highly recommend this spot.
