The apartment is located in a residential neighbourhood at walking distance from the main EU offices (3 to 15 minutes), the city centre Place du sablon, Grand Place (15 to 20 minutes) and public transport hubs. We are just behind some of Brussels' most famous Art Nouveau Squares and parks (Ambiorix, Marie Louise).
There are 2 supermarkets, an organic small grocery/supermarket within 300 mt from the house. A good Argentinian restaurant across the street, one of the best real Italian pizzeria (I am Italian) in Bxl 200 mt away, and many more within 500-800mt. Bxl is a real gastronomic capital, so if I was you I would do a little research to find the restaurants that I would like to try 😋. Otherwise the area is mostly residential.

We are 600mt from the Art-Loi metro station, the biggest hub in Brussels and direct line to the Midi train station, 200 mt from the Maalbeek Metro station of the line that goes straight to the Grand Place (and the Central train station). Lots of buses pass nearby to the different part of town.
Parking
All around the block is either paying (between 9am and 6pm) or free parking for 2hrs slots, with a "disque bleu" (again, one must do this only between 9am and 6pm).
Free parking the rest of the time, including Sat-Sun.
For paying parking places you can check on this site which has the biggest options in our area, bepark. Search on bepark site (.eu) for parking in Brussels. They have a few parking lots near the house: rue Stevin,, Rue des Deux Églises or Rue de la Loi.
