Mahabs Homestay Villa is an individual property situated near the Buckingham canal and is a minute away from all major monuments in Mamallapuram. The villa is in a quiet street yet located in the heart of Mamallapuram. A cozy place to spend your weekends with your family and friends and also a great space for small parties and gatherings. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for or if you want to eat out you can explore the local restaurants or order in. We also provide home cooked food. Our property is 1 km away from the beach and a quick 5 minute walk to the major monuments and restaurants.

Great and calm location. Host was very helpful, booked our cab to the airport on our way back.
I stayed at Mahabs Home stay for 1 night with my mother and my dog. All of us throughly enjoyed the stay, the home was as described and shown in the photos. Though Mahabalipuram is among the hottest of the temperatures, the environment at the home was very peaceful, surrounded by good number of trees and plants making the stay cool and calm. Easily reachable and situated among a peaceful surrounding, and safe. The home was spacious enough for a small family, with one hall, kitchen, bedroom with A/c, car parking, garden place to chill around. My dog loved the place as she had lot of space to explore and good number of friends to bark at. The important tourist spots of Mahabalipuram are just 5-10 mins away, and if you have a private vehicle, its an easy access to all these places including the beaches. Gowtham was a great host, with immediate responses to any query. He also helped us with home cooked food for breakfast (not included in the package).
The stay was extremely good. The host, Gowtham is very friendly and helped in all possible ways. The house was neat and clean when we checked in. It's a pet friendly accommodation. There is sufficient place inside the property for the pet to enjoy. But be careful while taking your pet outside the property for a walk. There are lot of stray dogs outside. The property is close to most of the attractions in mamallapuram. Overall we had a nice stay. I feel it is slightly over priced
Gowtham, the host, was very friendly and helpful. Once I checked-in, which was super easy, he took me to a restaurant in his vehicle for lunch since I was tired to walk or explore. The place was very clean and beautiful. It had all the amenities as mentioned. He was very informative about what to see and where to explore. He even delivered the food personally. In all, it was very good experience!!! I would totally recommend this place!!
Stay was good private house which was spacious Pretty much everything from tv to toaster is available
