Amazing cabin in a very secluded area, which was exactly what we were looking for for our family getaway. The cabin is very spacious, divided very smartly (2 bedrooms in each floor). It has many games and attractions for kids. The hot tub and sauna were an amazing addition as well. Getting there is very difficult indeed, and chains or socks are highly recommended to use even with an awd with m+s tires.

Just be advised if you are going during the winter with snow, you must ensure that you have “snow” tires, “four wheel drive”, not all-wheel. Our cars could not handle the roads and needed to check out early out early to avoid getting stuck. Otherwise, the home was beautiful, only wish we could have stayed longer.

The Big Bear Lodge was a remote and beautiful place for our family stay. The amenities were wonderful and everything was in excellent condition.

Place was fantastic, my friends and I loved the place and really enjoyed our time. So close to the Canyons and Park City which was fantastic. Beautiful kitchen, all necessary appliances and kitchenware. My only concern was the location of the house being at the top of a mountain making the drive tricky especially in thick fog and night time (our first night). HIGHLY recommend getting the snow socks or chains even when driving an AWD, and make sure to follow the directions closely, even route the drive before going to make sure you know exactly where to go. Other than the drive, the house was amazing and I would still recommend!
