Nice place off the main roads in the country.

The land surrounding the cabin was nice. We got to see deer, wild turkeys, and raccoons! It had a cool log cabin feel. It was right next door to another house though and there were a couple of garages below the cabin, so if they were in the garages working, it did get a little loud and you could smell exhaust fumes in the cabin. Not as private as we thought it would be. It was close enough to town for restaurants, Walmart, etc, but far enough away for a peaceful country feel. When we arrived, we found something very gross in the toilet, so that told us it was not cleaned. The owner did come quickly to clean it for us and was very apologetic. The bathroom also had an odor the whole time we were there. I wanted to clean when we left; however there wasn’t a broom, a mop, or a vacuum, so we did the best we could.

Clinton was proactive, providing directions before check in and made sure once we arrived to message, welcoming us to the house and offering his assistance if we needed anything. We will definitely be back!

Great place and wonderful location. Dogs weren't to sure about the cold weather, but loved all the new smells.
