This is a beautiful old property right in the centre of Winchester. It was easy to find and in a great location. Parking was a bit of a hassle as there isn’t any with the property (we did know in advance) so I would recommend being organised if needing to drop off luggage or if you have people with you with mobility issues or young children. The house is beautiful inside with some great character features but there was some odd things that made it feel less ‘luxury’, such as only 3 wine glasses, empty picture hooks on some of the walls and all the plants were dying. It also missed the feeling of a personal touches/welcome that I’ve had when staying in similar properties. But overall we had a great time and it was a great space for a family get together.

The house was accommodating, well resourced and comfortable. Very good location in central Winchester but quiet. We like cooking and the kitchen was great to work in. It wasn’t sitting in the garden weather but I’m sure it’s lovely on warmer days!

We are on our way home from a fabulous stay at St Peter’s Street. We had a family of 8 & found the accommodation to be just as expected - beautifully decorated & homely. Having stayed at a few Air BnB’s a few things I particularly enjoyed were; having dishwasher tablets there (enough for our stay duration), washing liquid, washing machine stuff, toilet roll, really good quality towels & not filled with ikea furniture! Really lovely. The location was spot on, really central & the outdoor space was beautiful (although not used due to the weather). The only genuine struggle we had was noise from outside due to the single glaze windows. Given we had travelled with children the disruption this caused us was probably disproportionate - but on the first night we were awoken by the bin people at 05:30 emptying industrial bins (glass) & on the second night drainage works commenced right outside the front of the house at 23:45! This was noise and flashing lights. Not the fault of owners though
