Lovely setting, rustic yet sophisticated accommodations. Plenty of firewood and all the basics required to prepare a meal. Communicative, available, and very friendly host:) It was a wonderful stay!

The home was absolutely beautiful. I knew it would be harder to locate as it is in a somewhat remote area. We went during the off season so the other surrounding cabins were empty. We saw a lot of wildlife. My only qualm was that I was having difficulty getting the Coleman lighter to work to light a fire. The one on the mantle was empty. The other one I finally found was workable but I had trouble with it. I texted via Air BnB our host at 7:42 in the evening. I texted again the next morning expressing my dismay at no response. He did respond at that point. The biggest draw to the cabin was a nice fire on a December evening. It was dark and not close to a town or I would have gone to buy matches. I would stay again. I feel that even though we went during an off season time the host should still respond to a text sent at a reasonable hour.
