Der Aufenthalt war wirklich super. Wir waren zwei Wochen bei Sofia, das Apartment ist sehr abgelegen und ruhig. Ab und zu kräht ein Hahn in der Früh, aber das war's. Man ist innerhalb 15 Minuten im Ort um einzukaufen. Es ist sehr schlicht, modern und schön eingerichtet und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Ein perfekter Rückzugsort um die Insel zu erkunden.

Séjour très agréable dans la maison de Sofia. La décoration intérieure est très jolie et correspond parfaitement aux photos. Cuisine et salle de bain fonctionnelle et agréable. L’extérieur mériterait d’être plus aménagé pour en profiter plus ( la maison est mitoyenne avec une autre non rénovée) mais la vue est sublime sur la baie de Katapola et les champs d’Oliviers aux alentours. L’accès en revanche n’est pas simple. L’arrivée en voiture se fait par des chemins étroits et au milieu de champs ce qui peut être “étonnant” et il faut penser à ne pas avoir trop de valises lourdes car l’accès est un chemin de randonnée. Au delà de l’arrivée et du départ chargé, le chemin est très agréable et on rejoint le village et les restaurants en 5’ à pied. Nous avons au final adoré nos petites marches quotidiennes pour aller au village et profité du calme de la maison. La communication avec Sofia était parfaite, et elle a été très réactive des que nous avions besoin d’aide ou de conseils.

Perfect set up and location, and very efficient communication. Would absolutely stay again, and could have stayed longer!

Like all the other reviewers say - Sofia's place is in a perfect location if you want to be in peaceful, rural surroundings with great views and one else around but within easy walking distance of Katapola's restaurants, shops and swimming spots: 4 minutes to the car; 8 minutes to the supermarket/Moon Bar/Youkalis; 14 minutes to the small beach by the church to swim... You can also hike up the hills behind the apartment and see beautiful sunsets with views across the whole island. Hiring a car is useful - also obviously if you want to see the rest of the island - but not essential. The house is spotless, newly fitted out and has a very calm atmosphere: the layout and decor is great - feels modern but in the Cycladic style - and matches the photos online. We visited when it was very hot but the air conditioning units are brand new and worked perfectly also a powerful bathroom shower. Sofia was always immediately responsive, helpful and friendly (thank you Sofia). We had a great time.
