I‘ve had an excellent stay at Becky‘s. I stayed for two days because I wanted to visit Basildon Park which is just around the corner. If you arrive in the dark it is helpful to familiarize yourself with Becky‘s instructions upon arrival as finding the stables might be hard in pitch black dark (though there are light motion sensors on the way)

Our stay on Hillfields Farm was perfect. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, with Basildon Park just a 10 minute walk away, and Beale Wildlife Park a 20 minute walk away, staying here was a lovely getaway. The converted stable had a lot of character and it was lovely to see a picture of the horse that used to live there! The accommodation was clean, compact, and had a good provision of towels, kitchenware (1 frying pan, 2 pots, 1 oven tray) and a useful information pack. We loved walking around the farm and talking to the donkeys and alpacas ! The whole stay was very peaceful. We enjoyed walking along the country lanes in the evening when the sun was setting and coming home to cook. As there are no big shops nearby, we did our shopping before we arrived so we didn't have to do any driving while on holiday. Becky was very helpful during the booking process and was very responsive. Check-in was smooth and parking was plentiful. Thank you Becky!

Very clean and a very comfortable bed. The farm is in the most beautiful place. It has a v small sink and a door that does not block out noise. Perhaps a good place to crash after a wedding rather than stay for a few nights. But it was quiet and a sweet idea to turn stables into little rooms.

Hillfields is a fantastic place for a weekend visit, accommodation was an ideal cosseted hideaway and walks along the Thames, or mooching in Pangbourne and Goring make this worth a return. The studio was a perfect minature apartment, both tasteful and comfortable.
