Praia Grande is the largest beach in the area and has plenty of space for enjoying a day relaxing on the soft sand. The popular beach has a wide range of facilities available to make the day relaxing, with cafes, toilets and bars are servicing the visitors. As you might expect from a popular beach, there are plenty of activities to try out, a well-known surf spot, and it is the perfect place to catch a few waves. The villa is also well located to enjoy restaurants and bars with a sea view. If you can be tempted to leave the villa, there are also a handful of restaurants and bars within a five-minute walk. The castle dated back to the 16th century and was built to defend the area from pirates, it then became the summer residence of the poet Coelho Carvalho; however these days it remains unoccupied, but still well worth exploring even for the great views! With stunning beaches all around the nearby coast and beautiful historic sites in abundance, this is a truly remarkable corner of the world and makes for a fantastic holiday destination from families and friends.
