Only AFTER arrival were we informed that security cameras were recording us in the swimming pool and at the dining table on the patio (plus sound monitoring/ equipment). A $699 cleaning fee and we had to pull chocolate wrappers out from between the sofa/lounge cushions, clean black mould from the steam oven and vacuum dirty carpets in a bedroom. The A/C system didn’t work (3 visits from a technician) and to avoid having to compensate us via AirCover, the hosts fabricated a false narrative to AirBnB claiming the weather was too hot [yet we had normal summer temps 28-32 degrees c] and the system couldn’t keep up to cool the house. I.e. this luxury home has an A/C system which is not fit for purpose! I wonder what the owner thinks of that? The truth (as relayed clearly to us by the A/C technician in person) is the 40KW A/C system had a gas leak and heavily corroded condenser, which wasn’t fixed. Our experience of the hosts was that they are unprofessional, disingenuous and unscrupulous.

Wow - the home is amazing and so beautiful. From the moment we walked inside until we left my wife, 2 daughters and I just loved everything about it and we didn’t want to leave. The home is huge, so well presented and has everything you need for a 5 star holiday. We gave the pool, spa, kayaks and bikes all a good workout and really appreciated the ‘special treats’ that we’re waiting for us on our arrival. Being right on the water and also close to the beach was so good. Fantastic holiday in a really lux home - can’t recommend it enough. Great hosts to deal with also. Hope to visit again !!!
