Our stay itself was lovely, but there are some small things to be aware of which would have improved our experience. Positives - the gardens of the house are beautiful - particularly the pool area and the olive groves. Our two young girls enjoyed exploring the gardens, using the tree swing and picking tomatoes. We really loved spending time there. Marta’s father, Alfonso, who lives onsite was a wonderful, friendly and warm man - always available to answer questions, provide recommendations and take the girls down to the hen house to collect eggs for breakfast. Downsides - no pool towels (would be good to know before travelling); treehouse is very old and dangerous - don’t expect to be able to use it; garden chairs are old and falling apart, the area can be noisy (there were 3 weddings in the house next door during the week we stayed), the studio downstairs does not have suitable sofa beds - both were dirty and old. The €100 requested at check in is high given the limited amenities.

A very lovely stay in Manziana. A beautiful villa and a stunning garden. The host was flexible to accommodate our needs and the host’s father living next door was just the lovliest man we have met in a long time. His charming character and kindness simply made this one of the best stays we have had. Thank you Marta, and thank you Alfonso!

This was a stunning property in a lovely peaceful location. With some gorgeous Italian villages within easy reach and Rome a shortish drive away. The property is spacious inside and the pool and gardens are just stunning. The week we stayed was very hot so the upper floor got very warm but we just slept downstairs! Marta and Alfonso are great hosts, there when you need them but not intrusive at all. And the fresh tomatoes and basil grown on site were a delight. Not too mention the Alfonso's gorgeous dog who came to say hello from time to time. Highly recommended slice of Italian tranquilo.

Absolutely incredible! The place is beautiful with a huge garden, lovely pool and big house, the photos don’t do it justice! Alfonso who stays on the property was amazing! So welcoming, he even cooked us a lovely dinner one night of bruschetta, chicken and pasta! We felt like we were at home. You will not be disappointed with your stay! Even a lovely dog on the property who never once barked and also wanders over to say hello. Id recommend a hire car to stay here as taxis are difficult to get hold of and is 5 minute drive into town/ supermarket! Thankyou so much Marta and Alfonso, from Liam, Cerys, Jon and Suzie
