The house and location are lovely. We weren't sent check in details (for key box code).As we were driving down from Yorkshire (6 hour drive) the last 2 hours were spent talking to support trying to speak to anyone who knew anything. Indian call centre forwarded a telephone number for the host which was the one we already had with no reply for 2 hours straight. On finally getting the code from a phone call (we were already at the location) we were allowed to check in early (40 mins) which was a nice touch. Inside the property as a whole is nice. BUT The fridge had a mouldy milk puddle in the bottom so obviously hadn't been cleaned. My sons bed had a biscuit under it so obviously hadn't been cleaned/ hoovered. Most places we stay have a matching set of knives/forks, cups, glasses etc but here this was a random collection. The heating when we arrived was set to 28 degrees, took a while to cool down too. No Welcome pack. Overall will never book a property through these again

The house provides modern amenities, and the interior is clean and well-kept. The kitchen has everything you need, and the spacious living area is perfect for relaxing. The bedrooms are comfortable and warm. Please note that parking can be challenging due to the steep hillside location of the house. Chesil View House is a convenient base for exploring the attractions in and around Portland. Whether you want to visit the famous Portland Bill Lighthouse, explore the rugged coast, or stroll along the beach, there's something for everyone. In summary, my stay at Chesil View House was a memorable and refreshing experience. The fantastic location, comfortable accommodation, and thoughtful hosts made it a perfect getaway. I wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape by the sea.

Chesil View House is a well equipped mid terrace house with three good bedrooms, a decent kitchen and a small patio area with a picnic table outside. Our kids appreciated the fact that the wi-fi password was displayed in every room. The location is great: a quiet area of Portland within easy walking distance of Chesil Beach and costal paths, and convenient for Weymouth. Street parking is free in the area. We never had any trouble finding a space, though it was sometimes in a different street. A shout out also to the nice people in the surrounding houses who were very helpful when our car wouldn't start on the day we left, and rang round all their neighbours to find us a jump start kit!

The property is well located (wpnsa is a 20 min walk) with good parking and easy access. It sleeps 6 comfortably and is exactly what you’d expect for the price and location. Cottages,com however are dreadful. The joining instructions did not contain the lock box code (had to spend 30 mins on the phone to get it…good job we arrived during office hours). Unfortunately we had a problem with the boiler so had not heat/hot water for three days. It was fixed eventually but weeks later we’ve still not had any refund from cottages,com.
