A small apartment located in the central neighborhood of Marijin Dvor. Named after Marija Braun, the wife of August Braun, an entrepreneur who built the venue across the building that hosts this apartment. The street separating them bears his name. The building (Neboder Željezničarsko-štedne zadruge u Sarajevu) is a national landmark, as it is the first skyscraper in Sarajevo. The last floor used to host a cafe, which you could get to by paying one Dinar to ride the elevator. A small, well furbished and comfortable studio in the city centre. The surroundings provide many sights or public amenities: public transportation, the historic city centre, the National Museum, bars, pubs, clubs and the largest shopping mall in Bosnia. A perfect Sarajevo getaway!

Selim’s studio apartment is incredible value for money. It is beautifully clean and the bed is comfortable. It was quiet and I got a good night’s sleep. I like the colour scheme and the sofa. If you like enjoy city views, it has a great view of the Twist Tower and other urban dwellings. This host is one of the best at communicating I have ever known on Airbnb. It really puts travellers at ease.. The Wi-Fi was fast enough to watch TV on My iPad. The studio is close to the biggest shopping mall in Sarajevo, which I really love - SCC. You can get anything in there and there is a big supermarket with lots of choice. Plus lots of ATMs to get cash out. Also very close to the main number 3 tram line. There are plenty of bakeries around selling delicious sandwiches and pastries. You can walk anywhere from here in my opinion. It’s close to the bus and train station for convenience. Taxi from the main road to the airport only cost 20 BAM. Glad I found this place. Recommended.
Selim was a very kind, responsive, and hospitable host who provided assistance while I was sick. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, without issue. The location is also great as the city center and shopping mall is right there, there are a couple really nice parks nearby, and old town is not too far of a walk.

Parking is available around the apartment, paid. Free of charge on Sundays and Public Holidays. A daily ticket costs 10BAM(5 euros), and an hour costs 1BAM (0.5 euros).
Tram stations within 100 meters (tram track renovation ongoing until August 2023, bus replacement in place).
The main bus and rail station are reachable in a 15-minute walk.
The bus that drives from the airport to Bascarsija stops at a tram station in front of SCC.
