Terrific property in a great, central location - just a 10-min walk from the train station. Communication from the rental agency could have been better but we figured everything out by ourselves. The property was clean, warm and comfortable. Being tucked away down a close it was also very quiet. The beds were comfortable, the shower was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of cafes, pubs and supermarkets nearby. It was a great place to stay. We were disappointed with the lack of recycling facilities at the property however.
Really nice stay, great location, hosts super friendly Cottages . Com are difficult to get hold of and didn’t respond to a query I sent them
Really good location, a short walk into town, everything in easy reach. It is winter so we did find it cold at times but otherwise a great cosy getaway
We had a wonderful time at Eden retreat. Stays there for thee nights and enjoyed every moment of it. The host was very responsive. We had a minor issue with the lock and they fixed it in no time and made sure to call us to ask if it was to our satisfaction. This was very much appreciated. The location is great. We were traveling by public transport and the cottage is a walking distance from both the train and bus stops. Very accessible and convenient if you travel to the Lake District by train or bus.
