We stayed here in the winter and enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace and the in floor heating. We thought finding the driveway in the dark was a bit challenging, perhaps some more lighting would help. We would like to enjoy the patio and screened area in the summertime. This is a very nice country setting.

Amazing! We had a wonderful time here. We watched a meteor shower around the fire with a crystal clear sky. The house was cozy and open. We are definitely booking future stays! Thank you Gary and family!

Gary's Place was conveniently located outside of Luck, and provided us peaceful surroundings with easy access to the Ice Age Trails. The place was quite spacious and clean with comfortable beds. There was ample outdoor seating with screened and unscreened porches. The owners were reponsive in answering questions and suggested local attractions. It was exciting to arise and see the deer before we'd embark on hiking adventures for the day. Cafe Wren, in Luck, was a perfect stop for lunch right on the Gandy Dancer Trail. We visited the beautiful Cascade Falls and Wilke Glen in Osceola. The owners of Gary's Place recommended checking into a river boat cruise along the St. Croix River. What a treat! We took the sundown paddlewheel boat cruise of the Dalles of the St. Croix River in Taylor Falls, MN. Interstate State Park is another great place we explored. There are many activities to do in the area and Gary's Place made our trip relaxing and enjoyabe. A place to come back to. Thank you.

We had a great time at Gary's house! Enjoyed seeing all the deer, especially a doe and two fawns that hung around a lot! Really appreciated the awesome grill and enclosed porch that made outside meals very enjoyable! Gary is an excellent host, and this is a great property!
