Nous venons de passer une semaine extraordinaire avec nos trois jeunes enfants en Sicile. Cela est notamment dû à l'excellent accueil que nous a fait Giacomo. Il s'agit d'un hôte formidable qui s'est mis à l'écoute de tous nos besoins pour la réussite de notre séjour. Nous l'en remercions chaleureusement. La maison est idéalement située pour deux raisons: -Elle se trouve au carrefour des différents points d'intérêt de l'est de l'île que nous avons pu facilement rejoindre: Taormina, Etna, Catane, Syracuse... -La belle longue plage de sable du sud de Catane se trouve à quelques pas au bout de la rue. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

The house is within a gated community with an additional locked gate for the house itself so it felt secure. Giacomo was very quick to respond to us and was there to welcome us even when we had arrived earlier than expected. He provided a welcome gift and some great day out ideas. The rooms are comfortable and the outside space was great for eating lunch and chilling out. We enjoyed a trip to the almost private beach about 3 minute walk from the front door (we did get bitten by sand flies/bugs but enjoyed the waves). The outdoor shower for rinsing off after beach trip is a great addition to the place. The main shower is separate from the main house, which may cause issues if the weather is unpleasant - not sure this happens much here though! We went to Catania for an evening meal, and a day out in Marzamemi and Syracuse. The gated community itself is run-down and has lots of rubbish with no facilities that we could find possibly a result of being off-season October.
