The accommodation was disappointing. It was much smaller than expected, the many mirrors made the space look deceptive in the photographs. The main bedroom bathroom had no shelving for smaller items. The top drawer of the cabinet had long hairs in it. The shower was mouldy and made the room smell mouldy. The aircon in the room was set permanently on 30 degrees in the humidity and heat of the KZN climate! The aircon could not accept another setting. This was reported a few hours after our arrival. A fan was brought for us a day later when we departed, and a week later they were still awaiting a technician to fix the aircon. We had to unplug the aircon due to the 30 degree setting. The stove and the oven could not be used at the same time - you needed to use either the one or the other, causing a problem when cooking. The unit is on the 5th level - there is no generator, so when there is loadshedding, the stairs had to be climbed even with luggage! We had 2 x pensioners in our group.

sathiamma was very welcoming, and her hospitality is what ment a lot to me when traveling with kids, and she was a phone call away. she went an extra mile to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. thank you so much. we will definitely come back.
