The Tortuga Inn was a wonderful place. Pam and Kymberly were responsive and helpful. The house was great and the kids loved the pool. The location was convenient to restaurants and the beach and Moody Gardens was a great spot with the kids. We certainly would stay here again.

The house was inviting and host was very responsive. The heated pool and entertaining room was amazing and the gem for us. Beach is walking distance. Just be aware of an additional charge if you’re allowed and want late check out.

We have already started thinking of when we can stay at the Tortuga House again! We were primarily in contact with Kimberly but can not sign her higher praises! She was very knowledgeable but also responsive and eager to find answers to requests/questions we had that she was not 100% on. We had a great time & the beds were very comfortable after long days in the sun. We had a few friends over for the pool & they loved the game room & pool area - lots of shade, plenty of space, heated pool for spring use, just perfect for our stay. Our daughters and their husbands stayed with us and the upstairs living quarters were roomy, the beds and bed linens were so comfortable ( I know I already said that but this is huge in a VRBO for us!) , the kitchen was fully stocked, the layout was conducive to multiple adults allowing one to sleep peacefully in the back bedrooms & the others to be cooking or watching a movie. Parking was easy, it was close to everything we wanted, just loved our trip!

Pamela and Kymberly were very thoughtful and kind hosts. It is getting rarer to find such hosts on airbnb. They were easy to speak to honestly, very helpful and flexible and kind enough to even order some missing items that arrived next day. We traveled with kids and they were super understanding of some requests. Pool was great and rooms were all perfectly comfortable. Their place was clean and had many beach things such as wagon etc.

We had so much fun at the Tortuga Inn! We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the private heated pool! It was a beautifully maintained home! Hopefully will come back sometime in the future!
