This is a terrible Airbnb, an unfinished shack that is badly managed. The area between all the roof rafters is open, so hundreds of bugs fly in at night when the lights are on. The furniture is filthy. The manager left dirty laundry in the washing machine, and never returned for it. There was no WiFi unit most of the time we were there, and the manager had three different bizarre "reasons" why - fabrications maybe? The main circuit breaker was flaky, so we were told to flip it back and forth if the power went out. To do that we had to walk 140 feet to the front gate - extremely unpleasant in the cold and dark, and we had to do it multiple times. Once there, we found that the circuit breaker was not mounted or grounded, and it was in fact charred and had a loose wire, so there was a clear electrocution risk. Since the power went out often, and there's an electric water pump, we lost water pressure too, including showers (hot or cold) and the ability to flush the toilet. Disgusting. The manager blamed the failures on the power company, yet told us to flip the breaker to fix the problem - more fabrications. Awful place.

La cabaña está en un lugar muy bonito, rodeada de montañas y a la vez bastante cerca del pueblo caminando. A dentro tienes todo lo necesario para estar cómoda, tanto las habitaciones,como la cocina. La casa está construida por Irving (la pareja de Milagros) y ciertamente puedes sentir el cariño y el esfuerzo que hay puesto en cada madera, cada piedra, cada ventana. Un lugar realmente especial para disfrutar de Ollantaytambo. Gracias!!!

The Airbnb is super cute and just like the photos. It is cold at night. Probably about a 10-15 minute walk to the downtown square

This place is very cool and in an excellent spot. It’s wonderful to be outside and connect with Pacha Mama. Huayki and Milagros are great hosts and can help you to enjoy a great time.
