Location right on the beach, fantastic house will plenty of space. Chris has great recommendations for food, things to do.
The house would be great if thoroughly cleaned (deep cleaned), the shower room attended to so it doesn’t smell like a public toilet and the source of the slugs, all over the living room floor when we arrived, found and dealt with. We (a group of four friends) were very disappointed in the house and the lack of communication from Christopher from start to finish. Having arrived late on the first night, we left the next day (four nights were booked) and moved to another Airbnb about 45minutes away. The majority of our money was returned after much negotiation. The whole experience was stressful and difficult - not the relaxing weekend we had planned. Thanks to Airbnb staff for all their efforts.
Lovely place. Good for a big group. Right on the beachfront. The Zetland arms next door was a great spot for a drink! Great celebrations for my mums 60th with great restaurants in nearby Deal. Lots of lovely walks which was perfect for the dogs. Well equipped for small children too. Cot and highchair with books for the little one. Only comment would be for future customers, bring your own shampoo/wash stuff, but otherwise absolutely fab!
A lovely house in a great location. Unfortunately the house hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived, but it was put right very quickly and we were very generously recompensed for the oversight
A lovely weekend with family in such a great position in the beach. We loved being able to swim in the sea before & after using the sauna!

自我介绍
I've been working in finance most of my life and am now setting up my own business. My wife is a magazine journalist and editor who gets her kicks writing about design and uncovering the best a city has to offer. We purchased a seaside cottage (The Victory) in Kingsdown, Deal, Kent in 2011 and share a villa in Marrakesh (Villa 9) with some close friends. Having grown up in the countryside I kind of have a longing for a quieter life and love the feeling of space and tranquility The Victory offers. Together with my wife we live a life that tries to take in the best of both worlds and are bringing up our children (aged 8, 6 and 2) to appreciate the vibrancy of London life whilst also being able to entertain themselves all day - be it on the beaches of the East Kent coast or in the gardens in Marrakesh. We're both keen travellers and believe that with a bit of thought, preparation and the right attitude, children should encourage, rather than stop you from doing anything or going anywhere you want to go.
