The house feels like you’re staying at grandmas. Very comfortable, cozy and clean. The view was beautiful and we were able to enjoy it with a fire and some fishing. Will definitely go back to the House of Joy.

The House of Joy was a joy to stay at! We only passed through overnight so didn't have much time, but wished we had a few days here to really enjoy the place. The kitchen is large, clean, bright, and well-equipped to cook in. Plus 2 large tables to dine at. The bedrooms were all comfortable, cozy places to be and the bathrooms were sparkling clean. Outside you can walk down to look at the river, shoot some hoops with the basketball net, or relax or dine on the porch with amazing river views. The views are amazing even in the kitchen through the giant windows. Robert was welcoming and responsive and we would definitely love to come back to the House of Joy for a longer stay in the future!

Robert's place is even nicer than the pictures. Immaculately clean and very well set up for guests. Beds are very comfortable. We loved sitting out by the Ohio River at night and looking at the lights and the boats going by. Very peaceful and quiet. So glad we decided to stay there.
