We had a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay which was most welcome from our busy lives. The space was perfect for a couple, cosy and welcoming, light and airy and felt very close to nature. The birdlife was amazing, we were thrilled to see woodpeckers at the bird feeder and many more varieties of bird. The bed on the mezzanine level was very comfortable, a must for us and we slept soundly. The bathroom was larger than anticipated with a sizeable bath. The hot tub and living room stove were both a draw to us and certainly didn't disappoint. We loved these features and made full use of them. The location was lovely, out in the countryside, yet a short drive from amenities. The kitchen had all you needed to make a simple meal and the open plan aspect was nice. A delicious loaf of bread and eggs left by Mary-Anne was a thoughtful touch. The level of instruction was helpful in making our stay easy and straightforward. We would love to stay again.

Had the best stay! Great location and so tranquil! What a great cosy base to explore the lakes. Mary-Anne was so accomodating and helpful. Definitely want to come again!

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely private barn conversion. Quiet area surrounded by countryside walks. Perfect for a peaceful retreat. Home had everything you needed and more except logs so bring your own :)

Lovely place, we had a great weekend here and enjoyed the hot tub and all the birds in the garden! Mary-Anne was a great host, gave lots of guidance for getting to the property and how to use the hot tub and wood burner, plus lots of recommendations for things to do in the nearby villages. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures, it’s compact but perfect for a weekend and well thought out with slippers, crocs, dressing gowns and board games available.
