Claire’s cottage went way beyond our expectations and Claire was so kind and adaptable to our very last minute booking. The cottage has literally everything you might need and more. It is set back off the road so feels very private. 100% recommended ❤️

I had a lovely stay at Claire’s beautiful place. It is very private, serene and cozy. The area is calm and quiet with lovely beach walks rightly available. I was away for a writing refuge, and the place was perfect to get some words down. The cottage is very homey - you do not feel like you’re staying at a vacation rental, but like you’re in a lovely, cozy home. Beds were nice to sleep in, kitchen well equipped and there wasn’t lacking anything. Claire was very responsive and accommodating. I had clear and easy communication with her, and it was a pleasure to stay at this place. I didn’t have a hard time finding it as some other people have commented. GPS takes you right to the driveway, which, granted might be a bit narrow. Parking was easy and grocery shopping nearby. All in all a very good location! I’d definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great few days at Claire's cottage. Very peaceful and cosy. The heating had been on for our arrival which was very welcome given the miserable weather outside. Kitchen had everything we needed and the sofa was comfy for nights in front of the wood burning stove and a movie. The surrounding area is beautiful, with forest walks a short drive away. Our dog was welcomed but the garden isn't enclosed so be prepared to venture out with them for a wee even in the rain! Claire has ensured you will have everything you need at the cottage for a few days exploring the wonderful Argyle and Bute area.

A lovely wee place and in a great location to discover the Argyle and Bute area. When the sun came out the porch was a wonderful suntrap to watch the many a small bird and a red squirrel that came to visit.

Lovely little cottage tucked away from the road. Enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the birds at the feeder. perfect place to unwind after a day hiking the surrounding countryside.

During the pandemic I invested in the Hidden Cottage, a unique secluded 2.5 bedroom cottage built in the forest and overlooking the coastline of the Cowal Peninsula. With the world changing again I'm now more in Glasgow for work and family commitments but recognising that the cottage is for sharing it's available for other lovely guests to enjoy!
