This is a good, inexpensive, private place to stay in Barrie. It was very clean, quiet and easy to access. The beds were comfortable. The host is polite but did not respond to my request for an early check in. I would have appreciated a response one way or the other. The small couch was extremely uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. There were no instructions for how to work the tv and it appeared to you had to sign in to your own streaming platforms to watch anything. There were no dinner knives in the kitchen. That said, I did not contact the host about the tv or dinner knives. I believe he would have brought knives and explained the situation with the tv. However, these things should be clear and taken care of before a guest’s arrival. All in all, I recommend staying here for a couple of days if you don’t need to spend much time there. It’s good in the ways that are most important.
