Stayed here the night of our wedding. Perfect for newly weds and stayed an extra night before leaving for our honeymoon. Was an amazing place to decompress after our wedding. 10 out of 10 would recommend for a quiet getaway.

We stayed for a last-minute winery trip to Dahlonega. I want to say it was about a 40-minute drive to the wineries and less than 10 minutes to Helen. So many options around yet such a private little place to stay. A cabin is a very different experience than we would typically go for; I am not a woodsy girl. That being said, the cabin was great! It’s quiet, it’s beautiful, it’s charming. Pro Tips: 1 Download the map before you drive back into the woods; cell service was not good. 2 Arrive before dark; long driveway and not well lit (and tight if you have a larger vehicle). 3 Toiletries & coffee are not provided. 4 Enjoy the hot tub! Know there is a lock at the TOP of the door to the screened in deck (hot tub cover blocks the door which is a little creepy). 5 Jacuzzi tub takes FOREVER to fill. I called it quits after water ran for 30 min. 6 Ask for extra towels! You will need if using hot tub. 7 Bring plastic cups for outdoor enjoyment 8 Walk to fire pit with caution (no steps)

Beautiful cabin for a little get away! Minutes from Helen. We also went to North GA Wildlife Park and Safari that was not far from the cabin. Would recommend!

Overall, the price of this Airbnb does not match the quality of the home. For the price I expected basic amenities like I have received from Airbnb in the past—this is my first meh review of an Airbnb. The bonus features are the jacuzzi tub and hot tub, but not worth staying here just for those. The bed had two pillows that were so flat we put clothes underneath them to try to sleep, the bed was hard and similar to sleeping on concrete and there was only a thin quilt provided—no blankets. The host was responsive when the hot water wasn’t working, however, the fireplace did not work (wires were cut) which was part of the reason we booked here. For comparison, this is a studio cabin with one bathroom and 20 minutes from the closest attraction—the cost for two nights here cost more than a trip to Nashville in a larger home with more amenities and attractions. The host should consider lowering their nightly rate to a price that fits what the home has to offer.
