In the heart of Constable Country, on the Essex Way, nestled amongst farmers fields and woodland you will find Blackbrook farm house in its beautiful and idyllic 22 acre location. Ideal accommodation for large groups and family gatherings. of upto 22 guests. Situated within 22 acres, this very large 4000 sq ft property can easily accommodate 13 guests within the 7 large bedrooms, and up to 22 guests, by using the sofa, 2 sofa beds and 4 air mattresses in the 4 reception rooms. House is home to 30 Alpacas, 6 Horses, 2 Donkeys, 10 Peacocks, 3 Pigs, 3 Goats, 30 Chickens and Diesel our farm cat. There is a large farmhouse kitchen with 6 oven Aga, 5 bathrooms, 4 reception rooms, large gardens, hot tub and a gym. Plenty of secure parking and a great pub 10 mins walk away called the Yew Tree. Farm house is 5 minutes from an A12 link, 10 minutes drive from Colchester town and less than an hour by train from London.

Organised a retreat for a small group who had a fantastic time. The feedback from everyone was that this was a fantastic venue and 'literally amazing'. It was a great location where people could get away from it all, the rooms were spacious and the whole place was spotlessly clean and tidy. Highly recommended.
I use this place to stay the weekends for my sister's 30th birthday, the girls enjoy themselves and love animals there, enjoy feeding them, and there are good spaces and penalty bedroom. I would love to come back with my family this time. Children would love that place, too.
Great location and house, couldn’t recommend it enough.
We stayed with our extended family following my wedding and Andy's place exceeded all expectations. There were so many kitchen amenities making the catering easy, the music and games room kept everyone entertained and the hot tub was great even though it was winter. The house was warm and well fitted and had plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Andy was an outstanding host, very responsive and helpful throughout. Would highly highly recommend
