Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The Holt enjoys an enviable position alongside the River Glen, with its own private patio to enjoy overlooking the river and the grazing horses (and llamas) in the fields. Set within 3 acres of grounds, there is plenty of opportunity to take in this tranquil setting. There are a further 8 acres - which are enclosed and situated across the river with a exclusive riverside walk - for the more energetic guests there is use of the tennis court.

Our guys had a great stay. Would highly recommend. The property was lovely.
Spotless accommodation with a very friendly and helpful host. The accommodation is very well presented and immaculate with 3 good sized bedrooms and individual en-suites. The grounds are lovely for exploring with our welcomed dog and the accommodation is far from your typical dog friendly venues so hopefully this is well respected by all guests. A short drive to Stamford which is a lovely day out and some wonderful local walks. Nice pub in village but would say car essential as despite it being only a mile or so the roads are very busy and no real foot paths. Thanks for our stay.
Thank you for a brilliant stay in a wonderful property. Sourroundings are amazing with lots of good dog walks and local pubs. The weather meant the river was high but made the weekends even more memorable. Lovely property for a gathering and very comfy for both humans and dogs. Thank you

We recently stayed at The Holt for 7 nights. It perfectly met our needs and was very comfortable for the 5 of us. Melanie and Phil were available, friendly and helpful. All 3 bedrooms were spacious, well equipped and very clean. Each had its own shower and toilet which was very nice. The property is secluded within beautiful grounds and backs right onto the river and provides a number of lovely spots to fish. My middle daughter, in particular, loved being able to fish and I liked being to supervise while having a drink and watch the sun set. Had a very nice meal at The White Horse with family and would recommend it to others. In short, a very nice place to stay with responsive and easy-going hosts. Have recommended my extended family consider it for their next trips to the area. Thanks!

Within 1 mile are two gastro pubs, a shop and post office as well as a local butcher.

Nearby Baston, Lincolnshire, is a beautiful village lying on the edge of The Fens on the main A15 midway between Market Deeping in the South and Bourne in the North. The town of Peterborough lies ten miles to the south. A significant Roman feature of Baston is the Roman road leading across the fen towards Spalding. Part of the modern fen road follows it.
Burghley Horse Trials We are ideally situated for Burghley Horse Trials which are less than 15 minutes away by car, this prestigious event is not to be missed. The premier equestrian social event of the year takes place each September with over 600 trade stands, the event is almost as well known for its shopping as for its three day event. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Burghley House (Burghley House is open to the public all year round), the park will host some of the greatest international riders in a thrilling 4 star three day event.

The Mill is over 300 years old and retains many of the original features - our lovingly converted watermill gives you the opportunity to escape from the pressures of every day life, switch off and relax. Peace, tranquillity and nature. The Holt, The Roost, The Warren, The Den and The Sett are all situated within the beautiful grounds of Fletland Mill - our newest additions comprise of: The Holt (3 ensuite bedrooms adjacent the River Glen) The Roost (3 ensuite bedrooms with a balcony) The Warren a 3 bedroom period cottage adjacent The River Glen, The Den & The Sett are both single bedroom converted stables offering a cosy bolthole for two. At Fletland Watermill & Holiday Hamlet we look forward to welcoming you, your family and dogs. The Granary is situated right in the heart of historic Stamford, and is the perfect location to explore all that the Georgian town has to offer although with no outside space it is not suited to our four legged friends.
