The cottage is a delightful mix of the ‘cottagey' and contemporary. Carefully considered and obviously created with much pride and passion. We visited at the right time to enjoy the Spring colour of the pretty cottage garden. Our days out included walking the banks of the peaceful Deben river, Aldeburgh to Thorpness – and back! Southwold on a blustery day with a wild sea and tranquil Pin Mill on the way to Shotley. We enjoyed BlueSalt and Prezzo for informal meals and many of the coffee and cake shops along Thoroughfare. But we recommend the ‘Coach and Horses’ on the road to Melton. A 20 min walk but worth the effort! All in all, a lovely place to stay.

Jasmine cottage has a perfect review score and we now know why. Difficult to criticise in any way. Beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated and furnished. Everything thought of for guests and provided. The stairs need careful manoeuvring and the main bedroom and en-suite are cosy, but the design to accommodate everything is impressive and doesn’t take away from how lovely this place is.

Jasmine Cottage was absolutely idyllic. A great place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet while also being within an hour's travel to lots of great places to visit. Shelley has though of absolutely everything down to the smallest detail. The Cottage was beautiful and there were plenty of amenities locally. There is a local market on a Thursday where you can buy fresh bread, flowers, pies, cheeses and a travelling zero waste van where you can buy items by weight. We got to visit several landmarks which Shelley had provided details of in the leaflets left. Sutton Hoo, Warbleswick, Framlingham Castle, Yoxford, Rendlesham Forest (Alien hunting) Orford Castle, the list goes on. Our stay was absolutely perfect and I cannot recommend Jasmine Cottage enough. An absolute delight.

By far the best AIRBNB we have stayed in . A beautiful cottage with everything you need for a relaxing , comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean and in a very quiet location with lots of restaurants, shops and walks all within a short distance from the property with the added bonus of parking. Super comfy beds and pillows. The cottage is decorated and furnished to a very high standard . The kitchen is easy to cook in and the dining area looks out on to the gorgeous secluded garden that we can only imagine would be so nice to sit out in in the warmer weather. Wish we could have stayed longer. Shelly is a very responsive helpful host and we feel lucky to have found this super place, we will stay again.
